I do not have enough good things to say about this experience. The class was tiny, only 20 folks. Mardi Love was an outstanding teacher, great combos which were challenging but so much fun. She took questions and, as Falisa said, "She's just a person!" Very down to earth, lovely energy. Support her, take her workshops, love her on YouTube! Also the studio, Crecent Lotus dance studio, was sublime! A five star experience.

Really goofy photos of some of my first "gigs," one is at the Mercury Cafe in Denver (left and middle), the other is at a party hosted by friends. I had a candle burning on my head that whole night and STILL to this day have wax in my headscarf.
